How can I obtain the new SRM code compatible with WEB-SRM via ClicSÉQUR?

  • MEV-WEB is offered free of charge by Revenu Québec. However, you must use a Revenu Québec-certified version of your POS software. If you have a license, you'll need to switch to our SaaS offering.

  • As mentioned above, MEV-WEB is free of charge, but upgrading to a certified version of your POS software may incur costs.

  • Yes, Revenu Québec offers a refund program of $700 per new SRM returned after October 31, 2021.

  • No, Windows 7 and older operating systems will no longer be supported.

  • We recommend that you contact Revenu Québec for a specific list of required industries. In general, the restaurant industry is subject to mandatory billing regulations. Certain exceptions apply, please contact Revenu Québec.

  • A waiver will be available until June 30, 2024 for certain customers requiring more time to adapt.

Obligations of Restaurateurs

  • The deadline is May 31, 2025.

  • For specific penalties, it would be wise to contact Revenu Québec.

  • The WEB-SRM will automatically transmit the transaction data to Revenu Québec, but check with Revenu Québec if additional notification is required.

  • Work with your point-of-sale software supplier and consult the resources provided by Revenu Québec. Your SEV will give you communication error messages and other messages if it encounters configuration problems with MEV-WEB.

  • You will need to switch to point-of-sale software that is certified by Revenu Québec for MEV-WEB. Veloce and Maitre'D are certified for MEV-WEB.

  • Yes, contact your direct sales representative or reseller for assistance.

  • Make sure your POS software is certified, plan and book your conversion, and make sure your hardware is up to date and compliant with MEV-WEB requirements. Contact us directly so we can help you evaluate your installation.

Technical questions

  • WEB-SRM requires a certified version of your POS software to communicate effectively with the platform, collecting transaction data and transmitting it to Revenu Québec. WEB-SRM requires an Internet connection.

  • Equipment that meets our SEV-certified minimum requirements in terms of memory, CPU power and a recent version of Microsoft Windows. You must have this information verified by your supplier. Contact us to make an appointment.

  • Revenu Québec has certified our two SEV software packages, Valoce and Maitre'D.

  • This is a secure HTTPS encrypted connection with Revenu Québec.

  • The reports are available for consultation on your SEV. Annual SRM reports will be available in hard copy, and when produced, an electronic version will be sent to Revenu Québec.

  • As soon as the problem is solved, the data will be sent automatically to Revenu Québec when you make your first transaction on your SEV.
